Children's Dentistry

Most of our anxious patients tell us their fear started with a visit to the school dentist. We hope none of our child patients have this experience.  We encourage parents to bring their young children in with them because even if they don’t want to get up on the chair it gets them used to coming to the strange surroundings of a Dental Practice.

We will never force a child to have treatment and we will explain every step so that they can understand what we are doing and why we are doing it.

For the whole family

We monitor your child's developing dentition and offer age appropriate advice and care, including:

• Regular examinations
• Conservation of baby teeth
  
• Fissure sealants to help prevent decay
  
• In-house or specialist orthodontics if required.

Visiting the Hygienist

A dental hygienist is specially trained in the prevention and treatment of gum (periodontal) disease, which is the main cause of adult tooth loss and to give advice on all aspects of oral health
