Tooth Whitening
Improving or restoring the colour of natural teeth.
Tooth Whitening is simple, affordable and safe.
This is a straightforward and popular way to improve the appearance of your teeth. Teeth inevitably become stained by every day activities such as drinking red wine, coffee, eating staining foods and smoking.
Although regular brushing and cleaning visits can help to keep your teeth clean and remove surface staining they cannot remove deeply embedded stains.
That is exactly where Tooth Whitening can help. There are various ways of achieving the same result, all designed to suit your lifestyle, timescale and budget. We normally recommend a 10 day course of take home whitening but in-surgery options are also available.
An initial assessment needs to be carried out to check for suitability; decayed or broken teeth may need to be treated before starting a whitening treatment. Fillings, crowns or veneers will not change colour and may make it difficult to achieve the result you are looking for unless the plan includes renewing these restorations.
Only dental professionals are legally permitted to carry out tooth whitening. We strongly recommend that the public avoid other salon or shopping mall tooth whitening offers.
