Nervous Patients

Your comfort matters to us.

We understand that many people feel anxious or worried about visiting the dentist. Dental phobias are incredibly common, and at Dromore Dental we take them seriously. Your comfort matters to us.

Our team is committed to creating a calm, supportive environment where you can feel at ease from the moment you arrive. We take the time to listen, explain each step clearly, and move at a pace that feels right for you. Whether your anxiety is mild or more severe, we will always do everything we can to help you feel relaxed, reassured, and fully cared for.

Tell us before you arrive

The single most helpful thing you can do is let us know. Mention it when you book, or write it on your new patient form, and the whole team will know to take extra care with you. Nothing about your visit has to be a surprise.

How we help you feel at ease

  • We listen first. Tell us what worries you and we will work around it.
  • Nothing without warning. Every step is explained before it happens.
  • You set the pace. Agree a stop signal with us and we will pause any time.
  • No judgement. However long it has been, we simply start from here.

What a first visit looks like

1

Tell us you are nervous when you book, so we can allow extra time.

2

We talk first, in the chair or beside it - no treatment until you are ready.

3

We examine gently, explaining what we see and what it means as we go.

4

You leave with a written plan, and we go at whatever pace suits you.
